Came across this simple article about saving for retirement. Well for most employed people, the only option to have a comfortable amount stashed for retirement is to save, save, save! Even for a homebiz entrepreneur, saving is indeed a must too. However it would also affect your cash flow. When you put away a portion of your earnings, you are reducing that portion from working in your business.
On the other hand, if you don't put away some sum, you may not have enough when it is time to call it quits. And yet, just putting away money into your bank account is still not enough especially since there is inflationary pressure on every cost of living, you would find your purchasing power shrinking and when you retire, the money that you saved did not quite meet up to the future cost of living.
Anyway, the simple article here stressed the need to plan for retirement and to have prudent spending on your current earning. This may be easier said that done as there are dependents. You may have a family needs to take care, child education to plan, and it would seem there can never be enough leftover for savings.

Starting the New Year 2013 with New HomeBiz Projects
It's been a long while since I last posted anything on my HomeBiz blog. Having shifted it from another hosting company and then giving up the domain for this current version. Well in business there are ups and downs, and finding the right niche in the business blogosphere was just the same, not to mention very extremely competitive!
Well at first you don't succeed, try and try again. Meanwhile you would need to restructure and re-organize (sounding just like those big corp after having taken a major hit in their profits). And looking at my old website, I decided to redesigned the new template using an existing blogger template. Kept it simple but still looking nice. Nothing fancy, just try to make it soothing to the eyes at the very least to avoid garish design that would not go well with visitors that happened to drop by.
Anyway, the past 2 years was huge letdown by Google with their Panda and Penguin algorithm, and very likely made many affiliates and webmaster cry bloody murder. My own sites was not spared either despite not doing anything spammy and trying to be as authoritative as possible and yet still got hammered by the software that has no soul and empathy. It was just doing what it was programmed to do. After all it was a robot, and robots has no heart. You have been terminated! So to speak! That's why in the Terminator movies, the heroes had a hard time fighting those robots!
Anyway, I'm trying to re-look for a new angle for my SoHo Home Biz site. The old stuff were a bit too negative, and scaremongering probably won't get you anywhere much. I would still keep it around and just archive it in my website somewhere as it progress.
In the meantime, a friend of mine introduced some interesting online scheme. The returns look great, but if it is too much of a good thing, it may not be so good as it could be a scam. Anyway, just give it a try and at least recover my capital first. Not the first time I lost money.
As they said, "Fortune comes to those who dare." and I have dared many times.
Anyway good opportunity are not so easy to come by, but if one does come along, even though it is high risk, well, if you got spare cash to risk it for high returns, why not give it a go?
Of course not everybody has the stomach for this. And thus still kept on chugging at their old job, or hard to sell MLM program, and various other agency stuff. It takes a hard nut to clear the 80% failure rate. As Napolean Hill observed, you just might be at the tipping end on the verge of success and then you gave up. Not knowing you were so close to clinching the big deal of your life!
So reach for the stars, and keep your feet firmly on the ground.

Increase your own income
Whoa! Saw this news splattered on the Star newspaper front page saying, "Big Pay Hike". Wish it was so. Mine was just a meagre 0.9% increase in comparison against the benchmark done by Robert Walters Global Salary Survey for 2011. Although their survey indicated a sharp increase of 5% to 30% increase for many of the professionals, looking at my category I'm nowhere near that increase nor earning that income range. Perhaps some would say I should be working harder or carry the balls of my superior more or whatever. Well I've been working for a very long time and I found I like to call the shots to get things done. So working for someone else does curb my ability on my decision making.

Create business website for inquiries
One thing about building and create business website for business inquiries, it sure works! With the go ahead from top management I made a very simple business website for my company that I worked for. Nothing to shout about, very plain simple business website with just the right amount of information and SEOed to target it on my desired audience. Of course there are some hiccups here and there when management wants one thing and I want another. For those products that don't seem to fit anywhere in what the general mass are searching, they fare rather poorly. Since I know what I want for my portfolio of products that I'm handling, I get good inquiries out of them. In fact I get the most inquiries for my product portfolio. Beats cold calling.
Personally I never liked cold calling. Calling up companies one-by-one and asking them for an appointment to introduce my products is such a waste of time and energy. You will get rejection after rejection and that is very bad for morale. Only the most thick headed, thick skinned person will go about this way to get new businesses. Some of this so called super salesman says it works because they say is a numbers game. The more you call, the likelihood of getting a business is higher.
For me, I don't buy that. Sure if you are talking about probability, the higher number of times you beat at prospect doors, the higher your chances of getting a customer. But don't forget, you get lots of rejection, very high level of stress for you from all the frustration and wondering when you would ever even get an appointment, let alone closing a deal.
Why? Let's talk numbers. They call it the numbers game, true. But do you know what kind of numbers we are talking about here? 1 out of 100 calls you made will give you an appointment, if you beg and cajole, you may get higher appointment rate. And out of every visit, perhaps 1 out of 100 visits will get a reaction or interest in your products or services that you offer. That's approx 1 out of 1,000 chances for you to close any sales. So do you like the sound of this? A probability of 0.1%? A numbers game they call it. If you like pain, then go ahead with your sado-machochistic tendencies.
Nope not me. Having tried it, it doesn't work. Now don't get me wrong, I work hard too, but I rather be smart about it. Let's make the time available be as productive as possible. And so creating a business website will help, and if done well, will help tremendously.
And with the go ahead, I have made a simple website, did some basic SEO, and wait. Didn't have to wait long either, the inquiries came trickling in. Entertaining some of the inquiries, eventually I close some deals without having to run around doing cold calling. More often than not, those that call in are genuine customers looking for specific products for their production needs. And what strikes me is that those customers that called in, I wouldn't have the faintest idea how to find them! They found me!
Go try it with searching phone directory and guessing what kind of target company that may need your product. More often than not, they don't need your product because they are not looking for you, or wrong industry, or just plain wrong. But when you create a business website, they come looking for you!
In marketing, I have studied about Push vs Pull. And going around knocking at doors is Pushing, and you have to push real hard. Pulling is easier, in that customers come looking for you. Sometimes you don't even need to visit them, they come visiting to you.
Now how's that for building a successful business website?
Now do yourself a favour, don't simply just create a business website. Not just any kind of business website will give you the result, you will need guidance and the best system to use is Sitesell Site Build It. It gives you the fundamental grounding to start and build a successful business website. Sure my company business website may not be using SBI, but my experience with Sitesell Site Build It made it successful, though not a big way, because of the slower process of management approval and such, but it still worked. If you have fuller control of your website business direction, then you will definitely be more successful when you use SBI wholly and fully.
So give it a try today!

Web business idea
I know there are many internet marketers out there trying to make a killing but not making any headway. There is this post that came up on my comment here saying click, click, click you can generate so much sum of money.
So let me show you what they mean and how it works.
USD0.01 X 100,000,000 clicks = USD1mil
USD0.10X 10,000,000 clicks = USD1mil
USD1.00 X 1,000,000 clicks = USD1mil
USD10 X 100,000 clicks = USD1mil
USD100 X 10,000 clicks = USD1mil
USD1,000 X 1,000 clicks = USD1mil
Everybody happy become millionaires. Yippee!
Were if it that easy I've become a millionaire already. It is a simpleton idea. But the fact is where are you going to get those clicks?
The thing is they are all selling homogenous products. Which means if I'm selling sugar, you are selling sugar, everybody same-same and no USP (unique selling point), then you will have a hard time. If I do something interesting and sell organic sugar, then can jack up the price because there is something special about organic sugar, it is derived from plants grown organically and thus should not be contaminated by pesticides or other chemicals. Even then it is almost similar product. Slightly better USP.
On the other hand, if you can find some special niche, something that not many people wants to do, but something that you know very well, that's your USP. And how to achieve some success with it? Use SBI of course. It provides the tools on how to leverage what you know to create an online web business.
So far SBI has worked well for me. And so are my friends and many people. It is not a lazy-get-rich-quick system. It requires work on your part. If hardwork turns you off then don't read on. In fact don't read all those people selling ebooks about making it online. They are all the same with not much value in it. Get a real proven system like SBI.
By leveraging on what you know, you can create a niche area where you could either earn back from:
The monetizing model requires thought, and what works for one, may not work for another. But before it does so, you need to put up the website first and draw the traffic in with your well writing content geared for both humans and robots (for SEO purposes) but ultimately it should be written for people because that's where your main target should be.
Good luck!

Top ten irritating expression
This is something I should remember. Came across this top ten irritating expression in a newspaper about a research done in by Oxford University. Some of them actually sound quite cliche, we may have heard them and use them because it sounded interesting and unique but can be grating when applied to another fellow listener especially when it is directed at them.
Here's the list, try to avoid using them.
Cheers!
Here's the list, try to avoid using them.
- At the end of the day
- Fairly unique
- I personally
- At this moment in time
- With all due respect
- Absolutely
- It's a nightmare
- Shouldn't of (this one grammatically incorrect, should be "shouldn't have")
- 24/7
- It's not rocket science
Cheers!

Another SBI Signup, yey!
What makes SBI so much better as a web business? Even though it took me awhile to convince my friend eventually he got sold on the SBI web business model, and that also despite signing up a normal webhosting and making a few blunders like trying to use the free Wordpress.com blogging platform.
Initially he wanted to blog like one of those pro-bloggers who has quite a high traffic rank. I checked through that blogger using Alexa ranking and yes, this guy has very good website traffic with an Alexa ranking of around 69,000! Very high indeed. Much better than my travel site which has a ranking of 600,000.
Then on further scrutiny I found that his bounce rate was rather high. According to Alexa his bounce rate was measured as 70%. Since this guy was just blogging only, I cross check with my blogging website, which also gave me the same result, approx 70%. Alexa must be using a different criteria for measuring bounce, because in my Google Analytics, my blog website has a 89% bounce rate, so my guess is that this pro-blogger is experiencing the same.
So what does bounce rate means? A bounce is when a web visitor happens to find your website on search, curious about your site and drop in for a quick look to see whether it has the information that they need. If you are just blogging about everyday inane things, very likely it would not interest the visitor much. A quick glance (give about 3 to 5 seconds) and if they don’t find what they need it is sayonara, goodbye, adious!
Whereas on my travel website with proper structure and well written content for visitors who are looking for specific travel information hanged around longer, reading what I have to say, and either they click an ad or leave a comment or inquiry. Now that would be your most wanted response, right? If you are running a web business you definitely want your visitors to inquire more about what you have to offer. And for your info, the bounce rate for my travel site is about 45%. That’s a big difference when you compare it with a blog.
So if you just blog aimlessly you are unlikely to get the desired result even though you may get very high website traffic. That’s why when I first started out with SBI, they have a very good action guide that takes you through the steps of creating a REAL website. i.e. don’t blog, though you can create a blog to compliment your website, but your website should be a website that is geared towards giving the information that people wants and eventually get the desired response.
Here’s an interesting sidebar from Ken Evoy of Sitesell:
Haha, and I do recommend SBI to my friends who wants to start an online business. Those that didn’t heed my advise tended to wonder aimlessly in their online seeking of business.
So now that one of my friends has signed up SBI, he is now going through the action guide and digesting the finer points of setting up a web business. So will see how’s his progress in the coming months.
So what about you?
Blog or build? Webhosting or SBI?
Don’t be like my friends who didn’t heed my advise earlier and wasting so much time (and money). Take up SBI and do it right first time. (Against the advice of Billy Lim’s Dare to Fail school of thought).

Many SBI! owners who are not affiliates recommend SBI! to their friends, family, local businesses, etc. For no commission? Why? Because they love SBI!, and because this monetization model does not fit their main one (ex., selling real estate). If you are an SBIer AND a 5P affiliate...
Do the same, except collect a commission, too! :-)

SBI Halloween Special
SBI Site Build It is having another promotion offer for their web business. It is called the $100 Halloween Special. The deal is simple, like all previous offers before, pay an additional $100 to your SBI order and you get another SBI package / account which you can give to a friend or family members or even save it for yourself to create another website.
SBI web business is still the best having tried to create a website using cheaper web hosting. I found that the many automated features plus the all important Brainstorming tool really create a website that rock!
Be amazed when your website traffic starts to increase with the right targeted website traffic. I don't get anywhere near as SBI. It is simply amazing how the SBI system just works! The traffic just kept increasing vs that of the normal web hosting where the website traffic seems to stagnate.
Try it for yourself and see! If you don't like you can always revert back to good old fashion web hosting. But once you see the success rolling in, you won't want to switch back to good old web hosting (except maybe if you are doing some specialize website instead of pure content types).
Give yourself a treat and get SBI!

Show Your Visitors How To Own Their Web Success
"SBI! Is For Newbies."
This is by far one of the most widely-held misconceptions about Site Built It!.
We see it all time. People say it in forums. In blogs. In discussion groups. Newbies do well with SBI!, but SBI! is for anyone who has yet to succeed online, not just newbies.
The best way to dispel any "Urban Myth" is to try proving it to be true. The truth of the myth proves to be elusive, the real story emerging instead.
Are all SBIers Web beginners? Not even close.
Check out the results landing page...
http://results.sitesell.com/
These SBI! sites are merely a sample of our most successful customers. Look close - it's a perfect mix of newbies and seasoned, experienced Webmasters that are all not only performing at the top level on the Net, they're TOPPING most of the so-called "Web experts" at their own business.
--
If your visitors are made up of eBayers, Twitter addicts and Squidoo page junkies, tell em' to stop "flitting" and to settle down and create success for themselves, instead of for Twitter, eBay, etc.
Naturally, if you DO reach newcomers to e-business, SBI! is perfect for them. Newcomer or "sophisticated marketer"...
Anyone can make their own success with SBI!.
Check out Ken's recent post about his latest conversation with a 10-year eBayer. It came about accidentally, while Ken was buying something on eBay. This super-experienced seller has finally started working for HIMSELF with SBI!, with the plan to phase out eBay...

1) The Top 5 SBI! "Urban Myths"
Your Chance To Expose A Brand New Revenue Stream
SBI! is in a class all its own.
Where else can you find the perfect combination of the right process, all the right tools, and constant updating. Where else can you find an unmatched track record of success?
You can't.
Unfortunately many people - including some among your audience - feel compelled to compare SBI! to existing products that do only a part of what SBI! does.
Instead of comparing apples to apples, they compare apples to, well, antelopes. It's not even in the same ballpark.
When this happens, it creates confusion. Naturally, it's a sign of a successful project -- no one creates urban myths about the unknown. And better still...
These situations represent a perfect opportunity for you to douse these SBI! "Urban Myths" with a little reality, and help gain yourself a brand new customer base in the process.
Let's take a look at the top 5 SBI! urban myths and how you can turn them around fo r maximum results...
1) SBI! Is Only For Newbies
FACT: SBI! is IDEAL for the Internet beginner, true. But it's really for anyone who has yet to succeed online.
Many very successful SBIers are seasoned Web marketers. They love how SBI! automates the most tedious site-managing tasks and allows them the time to build their business.
Long gone are the days when they have to piece together bits of necessary technologies that SBI! already does...
http://tools.sitesell.com/
Beyond the fact that power-users love the efficiencies, though, is the bigger point. If you have a successful business that earns you $1,000, $5,000, $10,000 per month (whatever you define as financially successful), you do NOT need SBI!. You already have a successful business.
But if you have yet to achieve significant, long-term success through free Search Engine traffic, give it a try. There's NOTHING to lose with the Guarantee. And as so many SBIers have said...
"Why did I wait so long. There's so much to gain."
2) I Can Make Money with Squidoo or Hubpages. Who needs SBI!?
FACT: Squidoo is pennies. SBI! is dollars and sense!
Putting up a page on Squidoo or Hubpages is NOT doing business online. You may be creating some content, but so is everyone else. For another Web 2.0 company, not for you.
And the other big drawback...
You have no control. You are controlled by the free hosting company, subject to future rules, future problems, etc. You are also subject to Google devaluing these free pages (as eBay has recently for their affiliate program -- they are seen as spammy by the engines). So...
Stop working for others. Take control of your online efforts and build your own e-business.
Build your OWN Internet "hub" of activity and make dollars, not cents. Be your OWN Squidoo (Content 2.0 lets visitors build pages for YOU -- now we are "talking business!" :-) )
Owning your own Web site makes so much sense. And following the step-by-step Action Guide will take your customer from niche-choosing to content-creating to income-earning.
Long-term. Evergrowing. Evergreen.... by SBI!.
These are the Netrepreneurs who attract the traffic. They make the money. And their visitors create stacks of original content for THEM!...
http://c2.sitesell.com/
3) SBI! Is Just Expensive Web Hosting
FACT: SBI! is sooo much more than a Web host.
Web hosting is cheap. And those with the right knowledge can sign up for a cheap hosting account in minutes and pay $100 per year to house their Web site.
Wait. That's only $200 less than SBI!. SBI!'s Brainstorm It! is worth at least that. That means you get everything else for free, everything on...
http://tools.sitesell.com/
Even though SBI! hosts your Web business as a part of the product, it can hardly be called a Web host. It's a complete education/do-it program that takes customer from concept to execution to success...
http://course.sitesell.com/
The step-by-step-by-step plan of action and all the tools needed, not to mention the constant updating, lets you focus on your business. SBI! has been creating Web success stories for over 10 years!!!.
4) SBI! Is Too Expensive -- You Can Get It All For Free
$299 is cheap for what SBI! delivers. Simply compare...
http://compare.sitesell.com
And SBI! just keeps getting bigger and better with constant updates, upgrades and new tools that employ the last technology with none of the usual technological headaches.
(Including a HUGE new announcement this month. Look out for SBI! 2.0 coming soon.)
And all at the same $299 price point since 2003!
And there is just no way that "you can get it all for free."
We once issued a major challenge, offering $5,000 for those who could find a set of tools that delivered the same functions as SBI!. No one could do it. And no one can today. Just try to match this...
http://tools.sitesell.com/
The funniest thing is that the "gurus" who spread this myth usually promote other tools that cost way more than SBI! and don't offer even 5% of all of what SBI! offers.
5) SBI! Is A Scam
FACT: SBI! is the only product of its kind that teaches ordinary people how to change their lives by building a Web business the RIGHT way.
Just a proven process that takes your customers from zero to financial independence with common sense and the tools to allow them to do it on their own.
It's the only program in the world offered at major colleges and universities at all levels... undergrad, MBA, continuing education...

SBI! delivers on each and every promise it makes.
Your customers can try it totally risk-free, thanks to its iron-clad guarantee...

Career Personal Development Plan
You need a career personal development plan. What other better way then to start your own web business? You should actually set aside some time to start off a side business, or even side income. You never know, with the downturn in the economy the side income might come in very handy. Just recently I came across a news article about professor, a PhD holder who couldn't find himself a job after having worked so many years in bio-medical research facility and ended up driving a taxi in Singapore instead. Fancy that! You would have thought with such a high qualification he should have no problem securing a job employment in some high paying job position somewhere easily!
I find such irony in this day and age. It is not the brightest, academically inclined individual that gets the cream on the icing. More often than not, it is the person that did some kind of career personal development plan that gets ahead. Especially those that has good networks usually gets to secure another job pretty quickly. Sometimes the best way to network around and get those well needed contacts is to start your own web business. It really saves you from hunting high and low for contacts. Let your web site do the hunting or rather being hunted down!
If this is as good as any opportunity to get started, it would be now when you still have a job, because you still have financial support while you put in a couple of hours a day or if time is a constraint, a couple of hours in a week to build up the web business. Slowly and surely you get your web business started. And one day when it has grown sufficiently and you look back, you know you have made a wise decision. And come what may, you still have something. And if indeed it has grown you may even decide to go in full time!
I know of many who has done so well then they quit their boring uninspiring day job and go at this full time!
If you are ready, click on here to explore your possibilities. You never know, it might spark off something. Perhaps using your existing skill and sell your services!
In the meantime here a reprint of the news article. Don't end up like that professor!
Driven to driving a taxi despite having a PhD

Singapore Jobs changing trends
By Seah Chiang Nee
Bio-chemist Dr Cai Minnjie who failed to land another research position after losing his job last year now happily prowls the streets as a cabbie.
SINGAPORE'S fraternity of taxi drivers, with its fair share of retrenched executives, has now an exalted new member – a PhD bio-chemist from Stanford University.
Prowling the streets of Singapore today is 57-year-old unemployed scientist Dr Cai Mingjie who lost his job at Singapore's premier A-Star biomedical research institute last year.
The China-born naturalised citizen with 16 years of research accomplishments said he began driving a taxi last October after failed efforts to land another job.
The news shocked this nation, which holds an unshakable faith in the power of an advanced university education.
One surprised white-collar worker said he had believed that such a doctorate and experience was as good as life-long employment and success.
"If he has to drive a taxi, what chances do ordinary people like us have?" he asked.
I have met a number of highly qualified taxi drivers in recent years, including former managers and a retrenched engineer.
One cheerful driver – a former stock-broker – surprised me one day in giving me detailed reasons on what stocks to buy or avoid.
"At a time like this, the taxi business is probably the only business in Singapore that still actively recruits people," said Dr Cai.
To me, his plight is taking Singapore into a new chapter.
"(I am) probably the only taxi driver in the world with a PhD from Stanford and a proven track record of scientific accomplishments ...," blogged Dr Cai.
"I have been forced out of my research job at the height of my scientific career" and was unable to find another job "for reasons I can only describe as something uniquely Singapore".
The story quickly spread far and wide over the Internet. Most Singaporeans expressed admiration for his ability to adapt so quickly to his new life. Two young Singaporeans asked for his taxi number, saying they would love to travel in his cab and talk to him.
"There's so much he can pass on to me," one said.
Others questioned why, despite his tremendous scientific experience, he is unable to find a teaching job.
His unhappy exit is generally attributed to a personal cause (he has alleged chaotic management by research heads) rather than any decline in Singapore's bio-tech project, which appears to be surviving the downturn.
The case highlights a general weakening of the R and D (research and development) market in smallish Singapore.
"The bad economy means not many firms are hiring professional scientists," one surfer said. "Academia isn't much of a help – there's a long history of too many PhDs chasing too few jobs."
While the image of taxi drivers has received a tremendous boost, the same cannot be said of Singapore's biomedical project – particularly its efforts to nourish home-grown research talent.
"It may turn more Singaporeans away from Life Sciences as a career," said one blogger.
One writer said: "In my opinion, PhDs are useless, especially in Singapore. It's just another certificate and doesn't mean much."
Another added: "The US is in a worse situation. Many are coming here to look for jobs."
"I won't want my child to study for years to end up driving a taxi," said a housewife with a teenage daughter.
The naturalised Singaporean citizen underwent his PhD training at Stanford University, the majority of his work revolving around the study of yeast proteins.
His case is not unique. US research-scientist Douglas Prasher, who isolated the gene that creates the green fluorescent protein (and just missed the 2008 Chemistry Nobel Prize) faced similar straits.
Prasher moved from one research institution to another when his funding dried up, and he eventually quit science – to drive a courtesy shuttle in Alabama.
"Still, he remains humble and happy and seems content with his minivan driver job," said a surfer.
With an evolving job market as more employers resort to multi-tasking and short-term contracts, more Singaporeans are chasing after split degrees, like accountancy and law or computer and business.
Others avoid post-graduate studies or specialised courses of a fixed discipline in favour of general or multi-discipline studies. "Experience is king" is the watchword; there has been a rush for no-pay internships.
"The future favours graduates with multiple skills and career flexibility, people who are able to adapt to different types of work," one business executive said.
During the past few years, as globalisation deepened, there has been a growing disconnect between what Singaporeans studied in university and their subsequent careers.
It follows the trend in the developed world where old businesses disappear – almost overnight – and new ones spring up, which poses problems for graduates with an inflexible job expectation.
I know of a young man who graduated from one of America's top civil engineering universities abandoning the construction hard hat for a teaching gown.
Another engineer I met is running his father's lucrative coffee shop. Lawyers have become musicians or journalists, and so on.
Cases of people working in jobs unrelated to their university training have become so common that interviewers have stopped asking candidates questions like "Why should a trained scientist like you want to work as a junior executive with us?"
In the past, parents would crack their heads pondering what their children should study – accountancy or law or engineering, the so-called secure careers – and see them move single-mindedly into these professions.
A doctor was then a doctor, a biologist generally worked in the lab and a lawyer argued cases in courts – square pegs in square holes, so to speak.
Today the world is slowly moving away from this neat pattern. -- The Star

SBI Back to work HiHo offer

Should have posted this earlier, but better late than never. SBI is having a Hi-Ho special offer, for only US$100 extra, you get another free account with SBI which you can save it for yourself to start another website or share the cost / pass it to a friend or family member.
There is no better way than SBI! And there is no better time than this special sale to get an extra. I will attest to it that SBI is a better way to build a successful work from home e-business than to use ordinary web hosting solution.

I'm using both SBI and normal web hosting, and somehow I get more website traffic using the SBI account than the cheaper normal web hosting. On top of that it keeps growing even if I decided to take a break! It just keeps growing! If you use a normal web hosting the moment you stop posting any content the web site traffic will just drop down, and you have no choice but to start all over again.
Save some money, but lose a lot in return. So make the wise move if you are embarking on a web business. Make SBI your business success!
To start your successful Hi-Ho back to work special, click here to order your online ebusiness success!

Create business website that is lasting
A recent newsletter by Ken Evoy talks about how to create business website that is lasting. It strikes the fact that many people who use the dubious method of gaming their website trying to fool search engines to get top ranking in the search engine would surely be in their demise. Having created a website using Site Build It, I could vouch the fact that my traffic continue to grow, grow and grow. Sure it may not be fast, but remember, the tortoise beats the hare because of dogged determination and not by using shortcuts.
Google, Yahoo and Microsoft are very much aware what those SEOers are trying to do. Just a note, it was reported that Google made 400 adjustments to their search engine algorithm in one year alone should you tell you something about what Google is trying to do. They are trying to weed out those websites that are trying to fool the search engine in order to get good high page ranking in the searches. By getting one's website list high, the notion that you will get high website traffic and that would eventually translate to profit. The thing was, those website do not provide much in terms of value to visitors.
So going by the doctrine:
This is every bit as true today as it was in early years of World Wide Web. Create business website that provide good quality content to attract visitors. And good quality content can be very lasting for many years to come, giving each visitors or repeat visitors the value of using your reference. You gain credibility, and become sort of like a guru, and if the visitors like you and your product, they will make a purchase that you recommend or even buy your products on offer.
In the words of Ken Evoy:
Search engines like Google is definitely scrutinizing each website, and well, knocking out those scammy review sites and not to forget eBay is slamming those who use hubpages, Squidoo, and Blogger, which have long been "splogger/Web spammer heaven.
And, of course, Google tracks all that, refining their search algorithms even further. Sooner or later, they're going to devalue links from hubpages, today.com, Blogger, Squidoo, and most of the article-marketing sites (all those that don't work hard to ensure quality submissions).
Even nowadays, the web surfers are getting savvier than ever. They learn fast. Spotting that fishy, get rich quick, low-value website that just isn't providing them with the value that they want. And the next thing you know, they are off to another website.
Respect your audience. Respect yourself. Respect the engines. Provide them with the kind of answers, information, and resources they won't be able to find anywhere else.
Provide them with YOUR original content. It's not only good karma, it's good business. And good for YOUR business.
1. Avoid the SEO and GRQ schemes that are rooted in exploiting a weakness on the Web. Those holes get plugged.
2. Contribute YOUR OWN unique well-crafted content to the Web. Keep doing it! Value is cumulative.
3. Respect your audience AND Google. They pay your bills.
So find out how you can create business website that is lasting by using the tools provided by Sitesell Site BuildIt system that has been helping so many people trying to find success online.
Google, Yahoo and Microsoft are very much aware what those SEOers are trying to do. By getting one's website list high, the notion that you will get high website traffic and that would eventually translate to profit. The thing was, those website do not provide much in terms of value to visitors.
So going by the doctrine:
"Every page you create should be truly useful content, something that adds value for the reader."
"Keep it real. Add value." Old-fashioned? Yup, dating right back to the beginning of capitalism. If you don't add enough REAL value to your customer to make her feel that she's made a profit off of you in exchange for her dollars, you are, in the long run, doomed.
As an affiliate, if you want real success promoting products and services online, you simply must add value for your audience. Let's summarize that as...
VIVO! A Spanish word, it means... "Live!" It also stands for... Value in. Value out. That reciprocity is the road to business success, which ultimately impacts how you LIVE!
Create value for your visitors (and the Web as a whole). They are delighted to return value to you. There is no mystery why there are so many delighted SBI! owners. Nor is it a surprise that the sites of everyday people receive thousands of visitor per day, who LOVE their sites.
It's no mystery if you understand... VIVO!
Search engines like Google is definitely scrutinizing each website, and well, knocking out those scammy review sites and not to forget eBay is slamming those who use hubpages, Squidoo, and Blogger, which have long been "splogger/Web spammer heaven.

SBI gets you the media limelight!

Here's what Ken has to say:
Well, as we've seen lately in these forums, SBIers get media attention. BIG media... Oprah, ABC News, New York Times, etc.
So, we figured... journalists are the toughest audience in the world. "Little guys" can't ever get their attention, no matter how many press releases we send out. I suspect they print and eat press releases just for the roughage.
But journalists do FIND SBIers. Then they're PREsold. And lastly, they "buy" by writing an article about the SBIer and his/her site.
If that's not a powerful confirmation of the power of C-T-P-M, I don't know what is.

HomeBiz Entrepreneur
Ever consider becoming a homebiz entrepreneur? It could well be a refreshing change from a corporate employee. Is a fast pace corporate life and a high consumption lifestyle your thing, or would a laid back shift to low gear and self-reliant lifestyle giving you back the freedom to be with your family the answer to your prayers?
Carl Honore, author of In Praise of Slow, says "Work devours the bulk of our waking hours. Everything else in life is forced to bend around the almighty work schedule."
Many people feel the need to regain some aspect of their working life. Answering to bosses whims and demanding orders is a sure way of losing control. Worse are those that has a distinct look down upon their subordinates thinking they are the king of the hill and grinding their employees like some soldiers in the battlefield.
One way to escape the control freaks would be to start your own business, perhaps an online homebiz using Site Build It system. After all, you may receive a pay package but felt that it is not equivalent to your talents and skills, or perhaps you have a greater skill but remain untapped or even unappreciated by your current employer. You do indeed have skills, far greater than you realize, skills that can take you far and further than being an employed would take you.
Neil Croft, author of Authentic: How to Make a Living by Being Yourself, says "Enough of us recognise our need to understand and realise our own potential, and it becomes clear that helping big corporations to become bigger and exploit better fails to deliver that for us." ...
The frustration of working under corporate workforce is just that. You are but a small little cog in their wheel of fortune. Losing you isn't a big matter to them. There are many others who could easily replace you even if you are in some senior position, where politicking is at their worse. So you may make millions for your company, and of course they may give you some bonus, a raise and some lip service. However if you can make millions for company, you know how to work the ways of income generation, so why not create start up and do it on your own?
The Advantages
Homebiz entrepreneurship liberates you from the reins of working life. You create your own job functions, you decide on your own working hours and you make your own work-life balance. Homebiz entrepreneurship is informal and ideal if you thrive on informal work at home business settings.
Doing your own work at home biz allows you to determine your own measure of success. There is a tremendous satisfaction in setting up your own homebiz and running it successfully. You will feel happier from what you have set out to do on your own.
The Disadvantages
As a homebiz entrepreneur, you face challenges of being focused in your home based business and the need to be self sufficient. You must always remain on track and stay on the path to success and not let distractions lead you on a time wasting detours. Distractions reduce your productivity and hinder your ability to achieve your daily objectives. Pull yourself together whenever you find yourself distracted and doing trivial things especially when there are important and urgent task at head that you need to tackle and settle it.
You also need to know the difference between distractions and diversions. Diversions staves off boredom and keeps you motivated. They are breaks that keep your mind fresh and to provide you interest to perform at your peak.
Here are some suggestions to minimise distractions:
Sometimes the task at hand seems like a big wall and you find yourself procrastinating. Try to break your task into smaller segments, and as you complete each segment, move on to the next. You will feel the satisfaction grows as each segment is completed. There may also be instances where you admire your each of your completed task, yes admire them, congratulate yourself with a reward too, but don't waste too much time as there are more things to do!
Networking
Running your own homebiz entrepreneurship can be a lonely journey, especially when starting it off. You may feel isolated away from your friends and colleagues and might miss the hustle and bustle of activities of an office. So do widen your network with people which could be vital to your homebiz success. They could provide you with information or leads that would lead to sales generation or open doors for opportunities. It also helps you to keep track of what is happening your area of work. Schedule a time of when to meet up with people and build up your contact list. Contacts is vital as it was once said and still remains true to this day even with the wide online information network, "It is not what you know, but who you know that would bring about your success."

Start Your Own Small Home Business
Everybody needs a source of income to survive. Whether living in the big cities or living in the outback country, money is the medium of exchange accepted by everybody in the world to do commerce and exchange goods. Sure there are still barter system being used for those outback places, but eventually this will make way to a monetary system that is far more convenient and reliable.
But with the current state of constant changes in the commerce world, the reliance of being a salaried employee for a lifetime employment is no longer as rosy as before. We can read in the papers whenever a company is not doing well, some of the cost cutting measures has always been to trim off workers. Redundancy they call it. It is one thing to read about it in the papers and quite very different if you are the one being laid off. And if it happens to you, you will ask, "What do you mean I am redundant? No longer useful for the company?" Well, that's just it. Redundant. No longer useful to the company.
They may give you some severance package but usually this will last you for a short time, and you will need to spend the time and effort to look for another job. If you have a family to feed, and you are the sole bread winner, the pressure is on you to quickly find another job. It is not nice being out of work and desperately needing an income. Especially if the market is flooded with job seekers and your skill set is not much different from the rest.
Company may also be looking for young dynamic go getters rather than hiring an older person. For one, their pay is cheaper, they may have more energy, they may be more enthusiastic and though they may have a lack of experience, it makes them more eager to learn.
Job security? This word is no longer available for hired salary worker. No, the new economy where a person becomes an entrepreneur and knows how to create his own business anytime without anything, that's where the security is. No longer does company give a lifetime employment. Even in Japan the work culture is changing. They are one of the few countries I know where the salary man gets a lifetime of employment and usually the company they are working in is the company they will ever work for life!
If you are still holding on to a job, kudos to you. But you should consider doing something on a part time basis, not just to complement your income and make it a second income source, but to learn how to start running your very own small home business. You will never know the skills you learn can be an additional invaluable knowledge for your current work as well, thus boosting your potential demand in the job market. Or if you decided you want to be your very own boss and fire your company instead of them firing you; hey, anything is possible!
So give yourself some thought about where you want to head in your life. Most people do not have a plan for themselves. Just doing things aimlessly letting the winds of change blowing them to and fro. Like Jim Rohn said, "You may not be able to control the direction of the wind, but you sure can change the direction of your sail boat and stir the boat."
But usually most people will just read articles like this and just throw it one side and say, "Nah, this is not for me. I'm living comfortably with my current job. I feel great and I don't want to spend the time running around doing anything extra when I can just rest and relax." I was like this too. Living in the comfort zone. But there will come a time, an event in your life that will really jolt you to realize that you will need to do something in your life, or life will pass you by and left you wondering what you did wrong.
So give it some thought and think it through and consider your options.
